GROUPE BMR PRESENTS A CHEQUE FOR $72,373 TO THE CHILDREN'S WISH FOUNDATION

CHILDREN'S WISH

Proud creator of hopes and smiles

Boucherville, March 31, 2017 – Groupe BMR is proud to renew its partnership with the Children’s Wish Foundation to help make the dreams of children battling life-threatening illnesses come true. This year, Groupe BMR, which celebrates its 50th anniversary, made a $50,000 donation to the foundation. In addition to this donation, other fund raising initiatives were held by the company and its employees for a total donation of $72,373 to the Children’s Wish Foundation.

Along with this important financial support, Groupe BMR also provided building materials and decoration items to help us make a dozen wishes come true over the past year. From transforming a bedroom to building a tree house, these projects brought joy to children who fight for their lives every day.

Ms. Julie Meilleur, Provincial Director, Québec, for the Children’s Wish Foundation, stresses the importance of this collaboration: “We are very grateful for the support of Groupe BMR and its employees. Not only do they give us a substantial donation, but this generous organization also allows us to minimize the cost of several projects through material donations. Without the involvement of amazing partners such as Groupe BMR, we wouldn’t be able to make these magical wishes come true.”

Travel wishes include all siblings 21 years and under living in the same household, and families travel worry-free thanks to exclusive Blue Cross insurance.

Our newly expanded reach, which includes children diagnosed with a serious neurological or genetic illness, means continued strong wish referral support through our medical community. Wish referrals continue to increase year over year, and we are proud to maintain our 'no waiting list' policy, thanks to our generous donors. Now more than ever, we are encouraging Canadians to donate and support Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada.
